Celebrating a Legacy in Energy and Partnership: Mr. Eric M. Walker

On 29 July 2026, AmCham Bangladesh honoured Mr. Eric M. Walker at an appreciation dinner at Sheraton Dhaka, Banani, marking the conclusion of six years of accomplished service in Bangladesh and celebrating his exceptional leadership and lasting contributions to Chevron Bangladesh, AmCham, and the broader U.S.–Bangladesh business community.

As President of Chevron Bangladesh, Mr. Walker led the company’s largest business operation in South Asia, deepened its long-standing partnership with the Government of Bangladesh, and reinforced Chevron Bangladesh’s standing as the country’s largest producer of natural gas and condensate.

Beyond Chevron, Mr. Walker served the American business community with distinction on AmCham’s Executive Committee from 2022 to 2026, including as Vice President, while chairing the Chamber’s Energy and Power Subcommittee. In these roles, he helped strengthen U.S.–Bangladesh business engagement and advance dialogue on energy policy, investment, and economic growth.

AmCham’s Executive Committee, representatives of the U.S. Embassy, and AmCham members came together to express their sincere appreciation for Mr. Walker’s remarkable contributions and to wish him every success in the next chapter of his journey.
